Prophetic Words for the New Year

The year 5769 is the year of God’s Goodness.

The year 2009 is the year of God’s Favor; His Grace and Mercy.

Together they are the year of God’s Presence.

5769/2009 is the year for Planting, Harvesting and Building

5769/2009 is a year of Acceleration in all aspects of our lives.

5769/2009 is a year of Miraculous Multiplication (John 6).

5769/2009 is a year of us Burning in His Presence and a year of His Commissioning

Isaiah 6:1-8
1. In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of His robe filled the temple.

The old king is dead-our old way of life/living is dead. God’s new is here for us as individuals and as a congregation. God is on His throne and on the throne of our hearts and the Robe of Righteousness cover us-fills us, His Temple.

2 Above Him were seraphs, each with six wings: With two wings they covered their faces, with two they covered their feet, and with two they were flying.

Seraph means “burning one” and we will be the Burnings Ones in this new season.

3 And they were calling to one another:
“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty;
the whole earth is full of His glory.”

We will be the ones shouting, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory”

4 At the sound of their voices the doorposts and thresholds shook and the temple was filled with smoke.

All that can be shaken will be shaken, but we, His temple, will be filled with His presence.

5 “Woe to me!” I cried. “I am ruined! For I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips, and my eyes have seen the King, the Lord Almighty.”

We will be humble and walk in humility in this season. And we will see our King.

6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me with a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with tongs from the altar.

The burning coal came from the altar of incense that burned 24/7. It was never allowed to be extinguished. It represented the prayers of the people going up to God. We are called to pray/intercede for each other, the church, our city, our state, our nation, and the world.

7 With it he touched my mouth and said, "See, this has touched your lips; your guilt is taken away and your sin atoned for."

Jesus has touched us. We are clean. Our guilt is taken away. Our sin is atoned for. Our work for this new season is to watch our mouths. Watch what we say. Our words have power. Think before you speak. Be wise in your choice of words. Be slow to speak. Our words will set in motion events that will either hurt or heal. Let’s be healers.

8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”

It must be us saying, “Here am I. Send Me!” Our commission: Take His Presence to the People.
